Issues within family law can be some of the most traumatic events a person can face. At those times of heighten emotion a person deserves to be treated with dignity and to have their options explained with clarity and compassion. First, the initial consultation is used to discuss the facts of the case, the applicable law and to explain any unrealistic or unlikely expectations. Knowledge is the best way to control uncertainty, and given over eleven years of experience Paul A. Lewis continually strives to design a negotiation or trial strategy with organization and attention to detail.
Paul A. Lewis began his academic career by earning a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Then Paul earned a Master of Arts from Griffith University, Brisbane Australia, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Rapid City, South Dakota. From his service to county to service for you, Paul spent over eight years on active duty in the Air Force eventually transitioning into engineering and the law. His past responsibilities have included risk assessment, six sigma, quality control and design, statistical modeling, and project management.
Paul embodies that qualities of a true advocate while being detached enough to look at your case objectively. He has a strong background in litigation having done extensive trial work. And while relying on aggressive trial work, Paul still appreciates the effectiveness of amicable mediation. Divorce, adoption, matters involving children can be a difficult process, but Paul A. Lewis can help to ease the course.
